Ryza and Mark Together at last
Thursday, April 19, 2007
Superman has Lois. Spiderman has Mary Jane. Our very own Fantastic Man also has a love interest. Her name is Wenna played by "StarStruck" season 2 Ultimate Female Survivor, Ryza Cenon. It is Mark Herras and Ryza Cenon, together at last, on-screen at least. For those who wish to know if there is anything off-screen between the two, read on and you be the judge! Text by KC Abalos. iGMA.tv caught Mark and Ryza. giggling and bonding as they waited for the photo shoot of their latest show in the Kapuso network – Fantastic Man. The two were obviously very comfortable with each other, even sharing a seat while they graciously accepted our request for an interview. Ryza tried to get away but Mark dragged her to share his chair. Hmmm…
What was their first reaction when they learned they will work together as a love team?
“Patay! (laughing) ‘Yun lang, yun lang nasabi ko,” Ryza quickly responded.
Mark was more serious when he said, “after nung ilang taon akong na-lock sa love team, parang ako, excited ako for another love team. Kilala ko naman si Ryza, kilala ko naman yung ugali nitong batang to.” Then, he playfully squeezed her arm.
Romantic link
The two have many things in common. Both are ultimate winners of the same star search. They are dubbed as the Bad Boy and Bad Girl of the Dance floor. And, more importantly, their names have been romantically linked even before the formation of their love team for Fantastic Man!
They admit that their tandem has been the subject of negative publicity a while ago. This happened during the much publicized tail-end of the Jennylyn and Mark relationship. Through all the hoopla, Ryza maintained her silence. The question is will the audience accept Mark and Ryza’s on screen partnership?
She shared, “Dati sobrang negative ‘yung dating naming dalawa kasi nga nagkaroon ng issue. So ngayon, mahirap expect kung magiging okay sa tao.”
Mark added “Let’s see kung ano ang magiging reaction ng tao. Hindi pa rin namin masabi sa ngayon kasi wala pa, unlike Jen and Mark na established as love team, kami, magpapakilala pa lang.”
But at the end of the day, the two are secure in their close friendship. They are both determined to give their all for the success of their new series. Maybe even suffer a few teasing comments and the inevitable gossip that goes with the territory.
Reel and real?
As a last note, iGMA asked Mark, what makes Ryza different from his other partners on screen? “Makulit, basta playful,” he noted.
Then we turned to Ryza, what is the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Mark? She immediately replied, “Babaero!”
Mark retaliated with, “Sige! Mag o-open ako sige! (teasing) Isa pa, isa pa, mag co- comment ako! Alam niyo po ba…”
Whatever he is supposed to add was drowned by Ryza’s protests and with that, the interview drew to a close.
Do you think these two have a chance at real not just reel romance?
