Nadine Samonte to go back to school this June
Nadine wants to finish her studies to prove something to her boyfriend's family.Young actress Nadine Samonte got a surprise birthday celebration last Friday, March 2, on the set of SuperTwins—the GMA-7 drama-adventure series which she co-stars with Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo.
Despite the simplicity of her birthday celebration, Nadine was still happy due to the fact that all of her loved ones were present, especially her non-showbiz boyfriend Emerson Chua, who lingered a little longer than usual.
"Sobrang happy, kasi hindi ko ine-expect na magtatagal siya [Emerson] dito sa taping." Nadine beamed. "Happy ako dahil lahat ng minamahal ko at lahat ng sumu-support sa akin ay nandito ngayon."
It seems that Nadine's relationship with Emerson is going strong. Does this mean a wedding plan in the future?
"Minsan nagbibiruan kami, mga ganoon lang, not seriously na pinag-uusapan namin," said Nadine.
Nadine also revealed her main reason why she has set aside her plans of marrying, aside from being still too young. Nadine just turned 19.
"Ako, balak ko muna mag-aral," shared Nadine. "Tatapusin ko muna ang college ko, kasi ayokong magpakasal or something na wala pa akong napapatunayan sa family niya [Emerson]."
She emphasized her statement by saying that she will enroll this coming June.
"Pag nakaluwag ako ngayon June, magpapasundot-sundot na ako ng pag-aaral," promised Nadine, who also said that she has decided to take photography as her course.
