Manila, Philippines - Not even Typhoon Bebeng’s prelude of heavy rains, thunder and lightning could deter the stars and GMA network bigwigs from coming out of their comfort zones last May 24 to be present in the well-appointed occasion launching GMA Artist Center (GMAAC)’s The Black Book, the latest catalogue of its steadily rising stable of talents, held at the Republiq in Resorts World Hotel in Parañaque City.
No less than GMA president and chief executive officer, lawyer Felipe Gozon, presided over the short and simple ceremonies, in the presence of other GMA executives led by GMAAC head Ida Ramos-Henares, also vice president for the Talent Management Division. The esteemed crowd that night also included lawyer Annette Gozon-Abrogar, president of GMA Films and other GMA executives such as Joey Abacan, Marivin Arayata, Gigi Santiago-Lara, Reggie Bautista, among others.
Gozon said, “GMA 7 a few years ago didn’t even have any contract artist under its management. But now, more than seven years after, GMAAC has produced homegrown artists, some of whom have made outstanding mark in the entertainment industry as a whole.”
Gozon cited the partnership, saying “definitely, the Talent Development and Management Department of GMA Artist Center is now a key partner in making us the No. 1 station in the country today.”
The more than 60-strong contract artists of GMAAC, led by today’s movie and television-raters, newsmakers and singing sensations, succeeded in making the event significant, turning the rainy, cold night into a warm, glittery affair of young people out to conquer the world.

Rhian Ramos takes over the task of scaring viewers while making them laugh in Spooky Nights Presents: Snow White Lady and the Seven Ghosts, beginning June 4.
Rhian plays as Snow, a young girl abducted by a vengeful and haunted balete tree named Rico J. Puno. She grew up in the care of Basya (Ms. Celia Rodriguez), one of seven ghosts who reside in the haunted tree.
She was living perfectly as a ghost until a secret about her past is revealed when a spirit questor named Prince (Daniel Matsunaga) enters her life. She easily falls for him and saves his life from danger.

Sa Twitter account kasi ni Popoy last Monday, nag-blind item ito na may isang talent manager na nagre-resort sa old tricks para mapag-usapan ang alaga.

Enzo Pineda madalas dalawin si Louise delos Reyes
ALAM kaya ni Sarah Labhati na madalas dalawin ni Enzo Pineda si Louise delos Reyes sa taping ng Alakdana sa Antipolo Napasyal kasi kami sa taping ng Alakdana last Thursday afternoon at kinumpirma ni Louise na dinadalaw siya ni Enzo sa taping at nagdadala ng pagkain.
Magkaibigan lang daw sila ni Enzo at nasa stage of knowing each other. Lumalabas sila pero in group. Ask ko si Louise kung alam ba ni Sarah, ka-loveteam ni Enzo at balitang ka-on ng huli ang una?
“Alam ko po ay wala silang relasyon ni Sarah. Kaibigan ko rin naman po sila. Dumadalaw si Enzo at nagdadala ng pagkain. Paborito ko yung carbonara na dinadala niya para sa akin,” say ni Louise, ang Alakdana.
Ang hindi alam ni Louise, may pagtingin sa kanya ang isa sa mga leading man niya sa Alakdana na si Alden Richards.
Si Alden ay sumali rin sa Starstruck pero hindi napasama sa top 12. Napasama lang siya sa top 60. Pero mas naunahan pa niya ang Starstruck winner na si Steven.
Sabi ni Alden na ang tunay na pangalan ay Richard Faulkerson Jr, matagal na niyang crush si Louise pero hindi niya masabi sa dalaga ang pagmamahal niya dito.
Kaya kapag dumarating raw si Enzo sa taping para dalawin si Louise ay tumatabi na lang siya at nagsisisi kung bakit hindi niya kaagad sinabi sa dalaga ang nadarama.
“Hindi pa rin ako susuko. Hindi pa naman sila (Enzo at Louise) mag-on kaya may pag-asa pa rin ako para manligaw,” matapang na pahayag ni Alden Richards.

Solenn, takot makipagrelasyon kay Richard!
Hindi pa alam ni Solenn Heussaff kung sino kina Paulo Avelino at Tom Rodriguez ang makakalampungan niya sa remake ng Temptation Island ng Regal Films. Pero ayon kay Solenn, ngayon pa lang ay kinakabahan na raw siya.
Naloloka raw siya dahil second movie pa lang niya ay may love scene na agad siya.
Siyanga pala, walang idea si Solenn sa original version ng Temptation Island, kaya balak niya itong panoorin.
Kuwento ni Solenn, bukod sa Temptation Island, may isa pa siyang pelikulang gagawin sa Regal bago matapos ang taon, para makumpleto ang 3-picture contract niya sa Regal.
Ang unang movie nga niya sa Regal ay ang My Valentine Girls, na bida si Richard Gutierrez.
And speaking of Richard, consistent sa pagsasabi si Solenn na nasa ‘getting to know’ pa lang sila hanggang ngayon. Pag-amin ni Solenn, mas nangingibabaw raw sa kanya ngayon ang huwag munang magka-boyfriend.
Giit pa ni Solenn, hindi rin niya type na magka-boyfriend ng artista. Ayaw daw niya ng magulong lovelife.
Ayaw din daw niyang sumikip ang mundo niya dahil sa selos. At marami pa raw siyang gustong gawin sa buhay niya.
Inamin din ni Solenn na ayaw niyang maapektuhan ang friendship at closeness niya sa pamil*ya ni Richard, particular na kina Raymond at Ruffa. Sigurado raw kasi na kapag nag-break sila ni Richard ay puwedeng maapektuhan ang friendship niya sa mga ito.
Siyanga pala, nawiwindang si Solenn sa mabilis na development ng kanyang showbiz career. Hindi na raw siya puwedeng gumawa ng kalokohan sa harap ng maraming tao.
Marami na raw kasi ang nakakakilala sa kanya kahit saan siya magpunta. Hindi na rin daw siya madalas lumabas dahil sunud-sunod ang mga commitments niya.
